Retired Entrepreneurs Should They Become Writers
By: Lance Winslow

All entrepreneurs learned a lot along the way and sometimes they are running so fast they do not have time to explain to everyone how they did it. But once they retire perhaps they should become business writers and help other people and up-and-coming entrepreneurs learn from some of their hard knocks.

Currently, I am retired but still over see much of my companies operations. I turned forty and decided I had had enough of the over regulation, litigation in the franchising industry and beating my head against the wall with non-performers, excuse makes and your basic "Apprentice" Donald Trump game playing behavior.

In my career I have had to deal with about every business scenario possible including going up against Federal Regulators and false declarations in a US District court. Turns out the original complaints came from competitors in the market place. Along with some very well connected political influences and their very well connected Washington DC lawyers. Set us back a bit. Dishonesty and intervention into free market competition by government agencies irks me.

In my semi-retirement I have become a writer among other things, planning a bike ride to cycle across the country right now, perhaps Nov. 06

There are so many great topics in business to write about I urge all retired business owners and entrepreneurs to share their wisdom with the world and the next generation. Additionally people need to know the truth about business and how things really work, it seems the masses just do not understand about how it all works. They have a right to know, I believe. Won?t you help me and tell them? Consider this in 2006.
